About Us

Chamsa are the No 1 supplier of clips to the UK packaging industry, we also supply to companies in Europe and USA.

The primary function of “case clips” or “box crate clips” is to assemble a packing case without the need of nails or screws; this is achieved by snapping the clips on to battens attached to plywood panels. Utilising this method gives an element of reusability to cases although certain companies prefer this system as it eliminates the use of power tools or air guns

The standard clip or “klimp” as it is known when used on Warehouse Containers is held in stock in the UK for immediate call off. These are neatly packed in cartons of 250, 25 cartons per case.

Besides the standard clip we also manufacture numerous clips which are customer specific, these are also personalised by stamping the web address or telephone number of that particular customer. In the majority clips are finished Bright Zinc plated but powder coating is available dependent on quantity ordered.

There are other methods of attaching clips to the panels of a case which is by machining slots at predetermined positions in to panels. Examples of a UK case manufacturer using this system are shown in. A major supplier to the US auto industry also produces export packing cases in this fashion.

All of our clips are manufactured by our parent company near Beijing, new tooling for bespoke clips can be produced at cost and goods held in stock for JIT delivery.
